ACCA qualified accountants have completed a rigorous programme of examinations and practical work experience before attaining Chartered Certified Accountant status.
Practitioners must have at least five years practical experience and have successfully completed further tests before they are licensed by the ACCA to offer their services to the public and businesses. The ACCA also insists on the highest standard of ethical and professional conduct from all members.
Furthermore, all ACCA practitioners must take out professional indemnity insurance to protect clients against any loss caused by the member.

The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) is the leading professional body for taxation in the UK.
Members of the Institute have the practising title of “Chartered Tax Adviser”. Members are qualified by examination and practical experience to give advice on matters of taxation.
Admission to membership is achieved by passing the Institute’s examination and acquiring the necessary three years professional experience. The Institute requires its members to observe the highest ethical standards.

Registered Auditors
We are a firm of Registered Auditors, registered to carry out audit work by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Only Registered Auditors can carry out the audit of limited companies and there are many other independent reports that can only be provided by Registered Auditors. The work of Registered Auditors is conducted in accordance with detailed international standards.
Registered Auditors have to pass examinations and obtain relevant practical experience before being authorised. They must also be “fit and proper” – that is to say, they need to have the personal and financial standing to be allowed to carry out audit work.
The Department of Trade and Industry has overall responsibility for regulation of auditing in the UK. Registered Auditors, and the work they do, are subject to regular quality monitoring and inspection.
